SALMA OLAMA

Salma Olama finds a unique comfort in self-documentation through the use of Polaroids. For her, these tangible images offer a sense of ease that digital photography cannot replicate. While digital images often feel too demanding, Polaroids provide a sense of independence, requiring minimal touch-ups and effort—yet still managing to capture a moment with an authenticity that she finds exciting. There’s something inherently special about the way Polaroids seem to present us at our best, which is a quality Olama deeply appreciates.
