Through his photography, Felix Palmero invites viewers to experience a world of vibrant colors and unfiltered joy, inspired by the dynamic streets of his beloved Havana. Having spent much of his life in front of the camera as a model, Felix sought to explore the other side of the lens, where he could capture fleeting moments of magic and happiness that tell a story. Self-taught in photography, he aims to reveal the hidden truths of those he photographs—moments that transcend time and become eternal in the form of an image.
Felix is particularly drawn to natural and architectural settings, using these environments as backdrops that transform into rich, immersive stages for his subjects. The streets of Havana, with their colorful energy, are a continual source of inspiration. At the core of his practice is an admiration for the human face, which is rich in diversity and beauty. Through portraiture, Felix captures the unique qualities of each individual, celebrating their inherent beauty and the stories they carry.
For Felix, art is an expression of the heart. His work is a personal universe, shared with love and humility. He invites others to discover this world through his lens and embraces the philosophy of "MakeArt – NotWar."
